Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is one way for people who have a love for knitting and craft to not only share this hobby with others of similar interest, but also would love to see their handiwork earmarked for a particular person in need.

Ladies of Living Faith Lutheran Church meet together and knit shawls which are gifted along with a suitable 'Prayer Card' to people that are sick, hospitalised, terminally ill, elderly, grieving, lonely etc.

Shawls are often presented to their carers or spouses too, as they also have special needs when caring for loved ones.

These Prayer Shawls are also gifted to folk in need in the wider community and to family or friends interstate or overseas.

They are made with love and devotion, always received with joy and gratitude, and are a wonderful witness for the creators and the recipients.
